Volunteer

The Elizabeth Fry Society was founded by volunteers and our strong volunteer base ensures the provision of much needed programs and services in Sudbury and North Bay. Volunteers continue to play a critical and active role in all aspects of the organization. Volunteer opportunities also promote community awareness and involvement in the criminal justice system. As a volunteer, you will:

Support a cause you believe in by;

  • having a positive effect in a woman’s life.
  • receiving ongoing orientation and training.
  • receiving professional development training opportunities on specialized topics.
  • receiving invitations to attend recognition/appreciation and social events.
  • and much more!

Become a Volunteer!

Various volunteer opportunities are available for interested applicants who are 18+ such as: Board of Directors, court support, court tracking, jail programming, reception, maintenance, and fundraising.
