Nightmare on Elm Street
In the past, the Elizabeth Fry Society Northeastern Ontario has hosted a Haunted House Fundraiser “Nightmare on Elm Street”. This event raised funds that were given to the United Way Centraide of Northeastern Ontario to put towards programs that benefit our community. Working together with other community organizations the haunted house took place in our over 100-year-old building on Elm Street. Since the fire we have made the hard decision to end this fundraising event and have created new fundraising events in its place. We will always be grateful for the community for the success of this event over the years. See below for memories we will cherish forever!
We are extremely excited to announce that for the first time ever, the winner of the People’s Choice for Best Room at Nightmare On Elm Street for 2018 is The Elizabeth Fry Society with “The Ring”.
This room received 179 of 371 votes for Best Room. Congratulations to the staff and volunteers of E. Fry for this masterpiece and thank
you to our volunteer Becca for her portrayal of Samara!
